      As President and Founder of The Public Advocacy Group LLC, Chad A. Marlow brings extensive experience in the fields of government, law, public policy and public/media relations at the national, state and local levels to his practice.

      From 1999-2004, Mr. Marlow worked as a litigation attorney at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, where he represented leading national and international corporations including Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP, Lloyd’s of London, Alcon Pharmaceutics and Wyeth (f/k/a American Home Products), and participated in a landmark federal lawsuit against the American tobacco industry. Mr. Marlow's pro bono efforts while at Orrick garnered him numerous awards from the Legal Aid Society of New York.
      Mr. Marlow's broad political experience includes working in the Washington, D.C. offices of Senator Edward Kennedy and Congressman Barney Frank, in the Hartford, Connecticut office of State Senator Richard Balducci and for the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice. Additionally, he has served as President of the Village Independent Democrats, as a member of Manhattan Community Board Two and on the Alexandria (Virginia) Environmental Policy Commission. Mr. Marlow has also been as a consultant to numerous political campaigns, including ones for Congress, New York City Mayor, Borough President and New York City Council.

      In the public policy arena, Mr. Marlow has advised numerous non-profit organizations and trade associations including the Drum Major Institute for Public Policy, Transportation Alternatives, the New York City Pedicab Owners Association and the American Electronics Association. Mr. Marlow has also represented numerous "Mitchell-Lama" tenants associations facing evictions, for whom he has an unblemished record of success saving their affordable housing.

      As an advocate and regular commentator on political issues, Mr. Marlow's efforts and opinions have been covered in the New York Times, Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, Chicago Tribune, Boston Globe, and in news sources as geographically diverse as the Anchorage Daily News and the Guardian Unlimited (United Kingdom). Mr. Marlow has also received coverage on television and radio broadcasts in New York City, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Maryland, and Cleveland, Ohio.

      Mr. Marlow holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was an editor of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law and a member of the law school's Moot Court Board. Mr. Marlow received his Bachelor of Arts degree in government, with honors and distinction, from Connecticut College. Additionally, Mr. Marlow received specialized training in the field of negotiation from the Harvard Negotiation Project ("HNP"), and later taught a course in negotiation and conflict resolution skills as part of a team from HNP's sister organization, Conflict Management Group.
