“The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”
– Aristotle
“The best government consultant is one that has a good track record, actual experience in the way the government works, a willingness to get into the trenches on a client’s behalf, good contacts and credibility and a willingness to work toward not only resolving a current problem but devising a strategy to avoid future ones.”
– United States Senator William Kelley
Through a combination of training and practical experience, The Public Advocacy Group’s advocates bring a broad range of expertise to every advocacy effort we develop and implement on behalf of our clients. This stands in stark contrast to other industry professionals who may have the connections necessary for lobbying but not the legal skills to draft legislation, or who have worked on political campaigns but have not been trained to perform comprehensive research and analysis, or who have valuable public/media relations experience but lack the political experience to understand how to maximize their efforts’ influence. Such is not the case with the advocates at The Public Advocacy Group.

The Public Advocacy Group begins the development of each of our advocacy campaigns by first considering how best to apply our broad range of expert advocacy skills to the effort. This approach reflects what we believe is an indisputable fact; namely, that multi-dimensional advocacy efforts are consistently more effective than ones built around a single advocacy skill. Once the proper balance of advocacy skills is determined, we engage in an extensive “outside the box” strategic planning process that seeks to design the advocacy campaign the way a grand master plays a game of chess: By planning and executing a strategy that anticipates our moves and those of our opponents dozens of turns in advance.

Unlike off-the-cuff advocacy campaigns or ones that follow a “by-the-book” approach, The Public Advocacy Group’s detail-oriented, custom-designed advocacy campaigns enjoy a far great rate of success because we plan our way to victory from the very first move through our final step. From this creative, multi-disciplinary approach to strategic planning, The Public Advocacy Group has raised expectations and redefined what a comprehensive advocacy strategy should be.
